Terms of Use
Please read these terms carefully before using HeroBoards.
1. Adult-directed service
HeroBoards is an adult-directed service. Adults may create boards for themselves or for children in their care. Children are not the intended account holder or operator. By using this service, you confirm you are an adult.
2. No accounts
HeroBoards does not create user accounts. Your board session is temporary. No board library is saved. Purchased clean PNGs are delivered on the success page and via a 48-hour email link. After expiry, paid export recovery requires contacting support.
3. Output rights
Your paid clean PNG is licensed for personal use only:
- Wallpaper or background on your own device
- Private print for personal or family display
- Personal or family display in a private space
Not permitted: resale, sublicensing, marketplace listing, merchandise, advertising, or commercial use. Commercial licensing is not available in this version.
4. AI-generated content
Boards are generated by AI. Results may vary. You receive 3 free preview attempts before purchasing. You purchase a selected preview knowingly.
Technical failures, corrupted exports, or inability to access a paid download are refund-eligible support cases. Subjective dissatisfaction after purchase is not automatically refundable.
5. Photo upload consent
If you upload a photo for the avatar, you confirm you are the subject, or you are the child’s parent, guardian, teacher, coach, or authorized adult with permission to upload the photo and create a personalized board. Uploaded photos are used only to generate a stylized illustrated avatar and are deleted within 24 hours.
Final upload consent copy is pending legal review before public launch.
6. Privacy and private use
HeroBoards boards are intended as private personal artifacts. PNGs can be saved, printed, forwarded, screenshotted, or displayed on visible screens. Use good judgment about what personal information you include.
No public sharing features are included. Do not use board content that could harm or identify a child if shared accidentally.
7. Content rules
The following content is not permitted and will be blocked:
- Sexualized content involving minors
- Hate speech, bullying, or harassment
- Self-harm encouragement
- Exploitation or abusive content
- Real people’s likeness without authorization
- Attempts to bypass safety, payment, or moderation systems
